Founded1908
Real Murcia traces its foundation to 1908, with the club in its present form dating from a reorganisation in 1919 that brought the royal title. It holds the record for Segunda Division championships with eight, and is the only club from the Region of Murcia to have played in La Liga, most recently in 2007-08. Financial collapse dropped it into the third tier, and it plays at the Estadio Enrique Roca.
