Slovan Liberec

The club as it exists was founded on 12 July 1958 when Jiskra and Slavoj Liberec merged and entered the second division, although Czech football in the city goes back to the sports circles of Horni Ruzodol before the First World War and to Slavia Liberec, founded in 1921. It has won the Czech league three times and the Czech Cup twice and is one of only three clubs never to have missed a season of the Czech first division. It plays in blue and white at the U Nisy stadium.
