Nagoya Grampus

Nagoya Grampus was founded in 1939 as the works team of Toyota Motor and joined the J.League at its creation in 1993. Its name combines the shachihoko carp of Nagoya Castle with the city's circle-eight emblem. Under Arsene Wenger it won the Emperor's Cup in 1995 and finished second in the league, and in 2010 it won its only J1 title under Dragan Stojkovic.
