Founded1926
PAOK was established in Thessaloniki on 20 April 1926 by Greek refugees who had fled Constantinople after the Greco-Turkish War, and its double-headed Byzantine eagle badge commemorates that origin. One of only three Greek clubs never relegated, it has won four championships, in 1976, 1985, 2019 and 2024, and eight Greek Cups. In 2019 it became the only Greek club to complete an unbeaten league and cup double; it plays at the Toumba Stadium.
