埃瓦尔

SD Eibar was founded on 30 November 1940 in a Basque gunsmithing town of some 27,000 people in Gipuzkoa. Owned by roughly 8,000 small shareholders in dozens of countries after an international share issue in 2014 that saved it from forced demotion, it reached La Liga that year and stayed seven seasons, the smallest town ever to sustain a Spanish top-flight club until Huesca. Eibar plays in claret and blue copied from Barcelona at Ipurua, which had the lowest capacity of any La Liga ground during its stay.
