SC Freiburg

Sport-Club Freiburg was founded in 1904 in Freiburg im Breisgau and spent most of the twentieth century in regional football before first reaching the Bundesliga in 1993. It has since become one of the most stable clubs in Germany, known for long managerial tenures under Volker Finke and Christian Streich, and reached the DFB-Pokal final in 2022. The club left the Dreisamstadion for the Europa-Park Stadion in 2021.
