New York Red Bulls

Established in October 1994 as a charter Major League Soccer franchise and played the league's inaugural 1996 season as the New York/New Jersey MetroStars. Red Bull GmbH bought the club in 2006 and rebranded it as part of its global network. It has won three Supporters' Shields (2013, 2015, 2018) but never the MLS Cup, losing the final in 2008 and 2024, and has played in a purpose-built stadium in Harrison, New Jersey since 2010.
