Флуминенсе

Founded on 21 July 1902 in the Laranjeiras district of southern Rio de Janeiro, Fluminense was the first of Brazil's traditional giants to take the field and the first to carry the word football in its name. It has appeared in every edition of the Campeonato Carioca since 1906, winning it thirty-three times, and holds four Brazilian championships and a Copa do Brasil. It won the Copa Libertadores in 2023 and the Recopa Sudamericana in 2024, and plays its home matches at the Maracana.
