Atalanta BC

Atalanta were founded in Bergamo in 1907 by students who named the club after the huntress of Greek myth, and merged with Bergamasca in 1920 to form Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio. For most of its history a provincial side, the club won the Coppa Italia in 1963 and then, under Gian Piero Gasperini, became a regular in the Champions League and won the Europa League in 2024.
