Hull City

Hull City were founded in June 1904 in a city then dominated by rugby league, and played their early matches on the Boulevard, a rugby ground. The Tigers were for a century the largest English city never to have staged top-flight football, a distinction they lost on promotion in 2008, and they reached the FA Cup final in 2014. The club left Boothferry Park for a new stadium in west Hull in 2002.
