Chabab Aures Batna, founded in 1932 in Batna in the Aures mountains of eastern Algeria, entered the Constantine departmental second division in its first season. It suspended all activity between 1939 and 1944, was re-affiliated to the Constantine league in 1951 and stopped again during the war of independence, resuming after 1962 and taking thirteen years to reach the Algerian first division. After the 1977 sports reform it was briefly renamed Chabab Nassij Batna before recovering its old name. It plays in red and blue at the 1 November 1954 Stadium.
