Cardiff City

Cardiff City were founded in 1899 as Riverside AFC, a winter outlet for members of a local cricket club, and took the city's name in 1908 after Cardiff was granted city status. In 1927 they beat Arsenal 1-0 at Wembley to become the only club from outside England to win the FA Cup, and they have won the Welsh Cup twenty-two times. The Bluebirds left Ninian Park, their home from 1910, for the Cardiff City Stadium in 2009.
