Hibernian

Hibernian was founded in 1875 by members of Edinburgh's Irish community, and its name, colours and badge all reflect that heritage. It has won four Scottish championships, three of them between 1948 and 1952 when the Famous Five forward line played, and three Scottish Cups, the last in 2016 after a 114-year wait. In 1955-56 Hibs became the first British club to enter the European Cup, reaching the semi-finals; they have played at Easter Road since 1893.
