Racing Santander

Real Racing Club de Santander was founded in 1913 in Santander, Cantabria, and was one of the ten founding members of La Liga in 1928. It has played more than forty seasons in the Spanish top flight, but repeated financial crises in the 2010s pushed it down as far as the third tier before it climbed back. Home matches are played at El Sardinero.
