Nancy Lorraine

Founded in Nancy in 1910 as Union Sportive Frontiere and renamed Association Sportive Lorraine in 1928, the club became AS Nancy-Lorraine in 1967 when it set up a professional section; the 1967 shown on the badge refers to that step rather than to the foundation. It should not be confused with FC Nancy, a separate professional club in the same city that folded in 1968. Nancy won the Coupe de France in 1978 and the Coupe de la Ligue in 2006 and plays at the Stade Marcel-Picot in Tomblaine.
