Colo Colo

Founded on 19 April 1925 by David Arellano and a group of players who broke away from Club Deportivo Magallanes, Colo-Colo is the only Chilean club to have played every season of the national first division since it was created in 1933. The black band across the shirt is permanent mourning for Arellano, who died in Spain in 1927 during a club tour. It is the most decorated club in Chile and the only Chilean winner of the Copa Libertadores, in 1991; since 2005 it has been run under concession by the company Blanco y Negro.
