Peterborough United

Peterborough United was formed in 1934, two years after the town's previous club Peterborough and Fletton United folded, and has played at London Road ever since. After five successive Midland League titles the Posh were elected to the Football League in 1960 and won the Fourth Division at the first attempt, scoring a League record 134 goals. The club has reached the second tier twice and won the Football League Trophy in 2014 and again in 2024.
