Crystal Palace

The present club was founded in 1905 by staff of the Crystal Palace exhibition grounds, which had hosted the FA Cup final since 1895; an earlier amateur club of the same name, formed by Palace employees in 1861, had entered the first FA Cup in 1871. Palace moved to Selhurst Park in 1924. After losing FA Cup finals in 1990 and 2016, they won the trophy in 2025, the first major honour in the club's history.
