SSC Bari

Bari were founded in 1908 in the Apulian port and have played since 1990 at the Stadio San Nicola, designed by Renzo Piano for that year's World Cup. The club won the Coppa Italia Serie C and the Anglo-Italian Cup, and produced or bought players including Antonio Cassano and David Platt. Bankruptcy in 2014 and again in 2018 forced two refoundations; the club was bought by the De Laurentiis family and restarted in the fourth tier.
