Esbjerg

Formed in 1924 in the west Jutland port of Esbjerg by the merger of Esbjerg Boldklub, founded in 1898, and Esbjerg Amatorklub, founded in 1911. The club won five Danish championships between 1961 and 1979 and the Danish Cup three times, most recently in 2013. It has played at the ground now known as Blue Water Arena since it opened in 1955.
