Sevilla were founded on 25 January 1890 by British residents and local Spaniards and are the oldest club in Spain devoted solely to football. The club won the Spanish league in 1946 and the Copa del Rey five times, but its modern reputation rests on the UEFA Cup and Europa League, which it has won more often than any other club, including three in a row from 2014 to 2016. The Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan has been home since 1958.
