IFK Goteborg

Founded on 4 October 1904 in Gothenburg as part of the IFK sports movement, and known as Blavitt or Anglarna. Its eighteen Swedish championships place it second on the all-time Allsvenskan table. In 1982 it won everything available - the league, the championship play-off, the Swedish Cup and, as the first Swedish club, the UEFA Cup - and it won the UEFA Cup again in 1987, having lost the 1986 European Cup semi-final to Barcelona on penalties. Since 2018 the football section has been a separate club inside the IFK Goteborg alliance.
