Raja Club Athletic was founded on 20 March 1949 in the Derb Sultan district of Casablanca and has worn green ever since. A founder member of the Botola and one of only three clubs never relegated from it, Raja won seven league titles in the ten years around the turn of the century and has taken the CAF Champions League three times. It plays at the Stade Mohammed V and contests the Casablanca derby with Wydad.
