KAA Gent

The football division of Koninklijke Atletiek Associatie Gent opened in 1900, within a club whose athletics and hockey sections date from 1864 and which was long known by its French name La Gantoise. Nicknamed the Buffalos after Buffalo Bill's Wild West show visited the city, Gent won its only Belgian championship in 2014-15 and has taken four Belgian Cups. It left the Jules Ottenstadion in 2013 for the Planet Group Arena.
