KAC Kenitra

Kenitra Athletic Club was founded on 5 December 1938 in the old medina of Port-Lyautey, now Kenitra, by Moroccan nationalists led by Haj Seddik Mkinsi, as the football branch of a multi-sport club. KAC has won the Botola four times and took the Coupe du Trone in 1960-61 and the Moroccan Super Cup in 1960. Known in Arabic as al-Nadi al-Riyadi al-Qunaytiri, it now plays in the second-tier Botola Pro 2.
