کریلیا سووتوف

Formed in the spring of 1942 at the Frunze aviation works in Kuibyshev, now Samara, after the Moscow plant was evacuated east during the war. Wartime secrecy over the factories meant the side was first registered as Captain Karelin's Team before adopting the name Krylya Sovetov, Wings of the Soviets, and it briefly played as Zenit for a few months in 1953. It was beaten finalist in the Soviet Cup in 1953 and 1964 and in the Russian Cup in 2003-04 and 2020-21, and took bronze in the 2004 Russian championship.
