Λεχ Πόζναν

Poznan club founded in the then separate village of Debiec as the sports society Lutnia Debiec; Polish research dates this to August 1920, while the club itself observes 19 March 1922 as its foundation, so the two dates are both in circulation. Known as Kolejorz from its post-war ownership by the state railways, it has won ten Polish championships, five Polish Cups and seven Super Cups, and until the 1990s also ran one of Poland's strongest basketball sections.
