Inter Milan

Football Club Internazionale Milano was founded on 9 March 1908 by members who broke away from the Milan Cricket and Football Club because they wanted to field foreign players, which is where the name comes from. Under fascism the club was forced to merge with Unione Sportiva Milanese and played as Ambrosiana until the name was restored after the war. Inter are the only club never relegated from Serie A, and in 2010 became the first Italian side to win the treble of league, cup and Champions League.
