Huachipato

Founded on 7 June 1947 by workers at the Huachipato steel mill in Talcahuano, and still linked to the CAP steelworks, which gives the ground its name, the Estadio Huachipato-CAP Acero. It is one of only a handful of Chilean professional clubs to own its stadium. Huachipato has been Chilean champion three times and is the only club from southern Chile ever to win the national title; most of its squad comes from its own youth academy.
