Dundee

Formed in 1893 by the merger of Dundee East End and Dundee Our Boys, specifically so that the city could enter the Scottish Football League. The Dark Blues won the Scottish Cup in 1910, back-to-back League Cups in 1952 and 1953, and the league championship in 1962 under Bob Shankly, reaching the European Cup semi-final the following season. Dens Park stands a few hundred yards from Tannadice, home of rival Dundee United, the closest two senior grounds in Britain.
