Stevenage

Stevenage was founded in 1976 as Stevenage Borough after the collapse of Stevenage Athletic. It won the Conference in 1996 but was refused promotion because Broadhall Way did not meet Football League ground standards, and had to wait until 2010 to go up, dropping Borough from its name that summer. It has since won the FA Trophy twice and reached League One.
