Derby County

Derby County were founded in 1884 as an offshoot of Derbyshire County Cricket Club, which wanted winter income, and were a founder member of the Football League four years later. The club won the FA Cup in 1946 and league titles in 1972 and 1975 under Brian Clough and then Dave Mackay. Derby left the Baseball Ground, their home for over a century, for Pride Park in 1997.
